Microsoft Office 97

Visit the Office Update web site (http://officeupdate.microsoft.com/) to download Office 97 or newer. If you choose not to download the software, or if your current version of Office cannot support the 97 release, you can view documents created in Access, Excel, Power Point and Word by downloading the appropriate viewers from the Office Update web site.

• To view Microsoft Word 97 Documents
  Go To: http://officeupdate.microsoft.com/downloadDetails/wd97vwr32.htm
  
  1. Scroll down to the free downloads under "Word"
  2. Select the correct Word 97 Viewer version for your computer and save it to your desktop
  3. Close all open applications and double click on the file icon located on your desktop
  4. Your computer will do the installation, then restart it

• To view Microsoft Power Point 97 Presentations
  Go To: http://officeupdate.microsoft.com/downloadCatalog/dldPowerPoint.asp
  
  1. Scroll down to the free downloads under "Power Point"
  2. Select the correct Power Point 97 Viewer version for your computer and save it to your desktop
  3.Close all open applications and double click on the PPT icon located on your desktop
  4. Your computer will do the installation, then restart it

NOTE: if PowerPoint presentations open in the work area ofthe PowerPoint program, go to VIEW > SLIDE SHOW

• To view Microsoft Access 97 Documents
  Currently there are no stand alone viewers for MS Access documents. Visit the Microsoft download site for information on how to download Access:
